‎Navigating through Crises and Deviations... or do you React?‎

‎Crises are a greater or lesser part of the daily lives of all organisations. Even before, during, and after COVID-19, the outside world and the internal world is ripe with crises and serious events in everyday life. ‎How do you best deal with major and minor upheavals?‎

Crises and daily life

‎Crises are a greater or lesser part of the daily lives of all organisations. Even before, during, and after COVID-19, the outside world and the internal world offer crises and serious events to everyday life. Be it media management, loss of key employees, a new competitor in the market, lack of delivery, or much else – while keeping daily operations looked after.‎

‎So how do you best guide yourselves through crises?‎

‎There is an operation that needs to be looked after, while at the same time you have to deal with larger and smaller deviations. Resources must be allocated in the best possible way and decisions must be taken quickly, yet on a sufficiently informed basis. It all happens quickly, under uncertainty, and your decisions – or lack thereof – have a big impact on your future.‎

‎Immediate reaction or are you looking forward and seeing opportunities?‎

‎It is natural to focus narrowly on the problems at present. For managers and employees. But as a leader, it is essential to be able to pull up in a helicopter perspective. Both to better see the whole picture in a current picture, but also to be able to see more of the possibilities of the crisis. For example, can you profit by going for a new market, does the crisis provide learning such as profitable homework, open the door to new suppliers or something else?‎

‎Is the whole organisation involved?‎

‎Do you collect data across the organisation in a simple and manageable way, and delegate the decisions to the individual departments – so that those closest to an issue are also involved in execution, decisions, and reporting back? As you know, you lift better in groups – as a whole, consisting of competent individuals who are allowed to contribute in the best possible way. Help your teammates join the fray.‎

‎How do you best share knowledge?‎

‎We specialise in supporting data collection alongside traditional systems so that you can easily and quickly help make central management as well-informed as possible. In a unified system that provides both overview and insight. We think this gives both a systemic resilience and a sensible collection of threads. The collection can be supplemented with intelligent mass communication, which can both advise outwards, but also receive feedback inwards in a structured way. For virtual war room meetings, our conference call functionality can easily bring the right stakeholders together on the right communication channels.‎
